It was a nippy 42° in the meetinghouse when Dafydd Jones, clerk of Plumstead Meeting, came to start the fire in the wood burning stove last Sunday morning. By the time Friends began to arrive, the temperature had risen about 10 degrees

It was a meeting 340 years in the making and it happened Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Middletown Friends Meeting in Langhorne as congregations from England and America worshipped together for the first time on World Quaker Day.

Bucks Quarter Quakers, under the care of Doylestown Meeting, met virtually on May 15th for their Spring Quarterly Meeting.

On Sunday, August 15th, Bucks Quarter Friends once again gathered virtually on a picture-perfect summer’s day for enlightening programming, fellowship and business. 

Last year’s May Quarterly Meeting was our first ever held on Zoom. We thought that these restrictions would last a few weeks, a few months at most. It was unimaginable that they would last a year – but they did.

A little rain could not dampen the spirits of those who attended the first outdoor worship service in 2021 of Bristol Friends Meeting.

This winter, Yardley Friends have been gathering outside around the fireplace for meeting for worship .

Bucks Quarter Friends held their Quarterly Meeting virtually on Sunday, February 21.

Makefield Friends Meeting has resumed meeting for worship inside the meetinghouse, taking the appropriate precautions so that Friends can remain safe while being in community.

Friends gathered virtually for Quarterly Meeting, under the care of Quakertown Meeting, for fellowship, worship and business.
