Because of the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the delta variant, Middletown Friends have made the decision to hold their annual auction virtually again this year. True, the warmth and fellowship of gathering for the potluck supper before the auction will be missed, but the virtual format allows many more people to participate, including distant Friends. The auction is a fundraiser for the meeting’s Ministry & Nurture Committee and the funds are used to meet a variety of requests for donations and support throughout the year.
