Bucks Quarter Friends, under the care of Southampton Friends Meeting, will be gathering virtually for a day of informative programming, worship, fellowship and business.

The day will begin with a program presented by attorney and community activist Helen Higginbotham, Esq., MBA, who will speak on the topic, The Power of Conversation: Conversation is Action. Helen offers, “The little stuff gets us to big stuff. We need to move beyond our comfort zone. Be genuine, not just say what others want to hear. Respect is expected, comfort is not.”

Helen is the founder of the group When Black Women Gather, and is a graduate of Rowan University, Howard University and Rutgers University, and teaches Ethics and Humanity courses as an Adjunct Professor at a state college in New Jersey.

The program will be followed by worship, lunchtime fellowship in break out rooms, then Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business. A link for supporting documents for meeting for business will be posted as soon as they are available.
