The Peace Fair, dedicated to promoting harmony in the home, the community, the environment and the world, will be held on the grounds of Buckingham Friends Meeting and Buckingham Friends School on Saturday, September 17, from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The Peace Fair provides a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere in which adults and children can learn about how others promote peaceful relations in their organizations and their own lives. The Fair is nonsectarian and nonpartisan, and seeks to attract people of all beliefs from all walks of life.
The safety of our guests and participants is our primary concern, and we will be going above and beyond to adhere to best practices to create an event that everyone will feel confident attending.
Highlights of the day will include information tables from organizations with peace-related messages and missions, non-competitive children’s games, family-friendly entertainment, crafts by local artisans and food for purchase.
Volunteers are needed before, during and after the Peace Fair; sign up to volunteer here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f084baca722abfc1-2022
